In the second half of chapter two, you’ll reach the snowy Fuyufusagi Fort and find Gemcast Monkey small Kemono there. They look vaguely like light gray piles of rock. You’ll find Silken Tread as a normal material to pick up as you explore Akikure Canyon in the first half of chapter two. You can get the Antitoxin Skill by eating Akebia Fruit found in Akikure Canyon or from the Fresh Fern Sone-ate (boots) armor. If you try to pet them without some kind of Poison Resistance skill, your attempt will fail. However, both of these Monitors release a cloud of poison when you (try to) pet them.
